Meanwhile, nobody know of a definitely list of what is actually new here? Last time I know they remodelled some filters as I recall, for example.
It doesn't matter if it's the same thing every year. When something is blatantly wrong, it's wrong.

New Customer: $400 gets you 21 brand new synths.
Old Customer: $200 gets you 4 brand new synths.

If you and everybody else can't see the absolute lunacy of this then I'm sorry, but I for one am not going to just sit back and accept this. And maybe if enough people pointed out just how wrong this was, MAYBE Arturia would STOP doing it to their loyal customers.

Let's look at it from another angle.

Brand new customers get a $100 discount on release day. That's pretty normal for a release. Makes people get it early so as not to miss out on the lower price.

Existing customers have to wait 6 months to get that same $100 discount.

This leaves such a bad taste in existing customer's mouths it isn't funny.

Hey, you know what? I'm not even asking for better treatment than new customers just because I've been a customer since 2014. I'm just asking to be treated the same. But I'm not. I'm being penalized for being an old customer.

I have not problem with it .. I also don't have a problem with wags or others saying they don't believe the price is not equitable in their opinion. Fine. But you are painting these guys as a room full of corporate fat cats that lighting cigars with hundred dollar bills and laughing hysterically at us for tossing random money their direction. The price isn't set to insult you. I doubt they looked in the Rolodex to see who they could piss off with the price. More likely they figure out the cost of production vs the cost of keeping the doors open vs the number of copies likely to sell over x period of time .... wait of course they don't do that ...

:-) KVR is funny.
I don't want in anyway offend any kvrer here nor Arturia wich i respect a lot as a software and hardware company. And i'm a long time Arturia legit user and customer. I just want humbly to say that the math about the price is not very fair to long time customers and i am on the same line as wagtunes. That said it is perfectly in Arturia's rights to do the price policy they like. And it's perfectly in my rights to say my opinion and to do my next choices as a customer. I still have to decide what to do. Invest 199€ now or wait for a discount. Or forget about being an Arturis cutomer without losing my respect for what they do.

And that said Easel and CMI seems very fine! And DX7 too...it eats DX7 Sysex too..as Dexed ;-)
