Glad you enjoy. Been having fun in Poly Grid with various of the new tools. Simple Arp.

Yes... there is some PM on the Scrawl which goes into the MG Filter. Using the Segments MSEG as the Amp Env so am able to shape the sound for a sharp attack, fast decay but then a lower, longer decay which gives the resonator impression. Also some Env mod on the MG cutoff and input gain.BobDog wrote: Sun May 21, 2023 6:49 am Is the resonator type sound coming from the Scrawl Osc or do you have other stuff going on?

The Grid keeps getting better... not just more modules, but easier to get at a satisfying sound quality.BobDog wrote: Sun May 21, 2023 2:21 pm Thanks for the info, It's a nice sound you are getting there, I will have a play with that...

Thanks man and sorry, forgot to reply you.] Peter:H [ wrote: Sat May 20, 2023 12:15 pm On of my problem was very similar: I setup a macro at track level to control various parameters of a synth and other plugins at once. It worked after setting it up in the same session, but then after reloading the project a day later the "connection" between macro and all tragets was lost. After trying it once more with the track modulator but ran into the same problem I changed to using a Chain instead ... see my question here: viewtopic.php?t=596638
Another problem could be somehow releated because you mentioned "Macro": I use nakst Apricot in CLAP version. I tried to setup a modulation lane and directly modulate the filter parameter. but it consistently crashes the audio engine ... it crashed even that hard that a few minutes later bitwigs window completly crashed away and disappeared .. on top of that it left my project file corrupt. This "need to use indirection" behaviour is kind of consistent as well, because each attempt to go directly from automation lane to synth parameter resulted in a nice crash...
I discovered that a workaround is to add an intermediate macro, i.e. the automation lane controls the macro and then the macro controls the filter parameter of the synth.
It's beta ... think we have to accept it has errors. But strangely there have not been any new betas lately!? Probably the Beta was a rushed up thing to get it to NAMM? And now they have to do a lot of polishing ...side thought ... why they invested in a new browser rather than in other features? Anyone getting the reason behind the new browser?
My point was to make sure it was a bug, I will report it to them in case they missed it.
And yes, I use the same workaround than you. Not too much of a burden but not very logical.
For the browser I am not sure but my 2 cents would be that they try to make their things more easy/pleasant to consume so that people use more the grid and their soundbanks. A subtle and soft way to make us more attached to their product. I am fine with that.

One of the useful aspects of Bitwig switching to users receiving the update based on when it is announced rather than released, is there is no pressure now.
