Sorry if this was already reported: Zebra2 and Zebralette version 12092 - VST2 versions - show up in REAPER as VST instead of VSTi, and they don't have the "(U-he)" suffix in REAPER effect browser.
ZebraHZ is ok instead.
The "(U-he)" suffix is also missing in Filterscape, FilterscapeQ6, FilterscapeVA (again VST2), version 15664.
Thanks,
Mario

The same happens with Repro. It won't be fixed. VST2 is going away, and U-he is releasing their final VST2 versions right now. Start using the VST3 (or CLAP) version.
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Got it. Would jump on CLAP though currently Zebra2 doesn't seem to have it...audiojunkie wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2024 8:23 pm The same happens with Repro. It won't be fixed. VST2 is going away, and U-he is releasing their final VST2 versions right now. Start using the VST3 (or CLAP) version.

I'm sure it will be coming at some point. As I understand it, Zebra Legacy is intended to be kept and maintained--even if it doesn't get new synth features.mabian wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2024 8:27 pmGot it. It actually will be fixed. We plan to release one more update that still includes VST2 before removing VST2 support. And the mentioned Reaper issue has already been fixed internally.audiojunkie wrote: Fri Sep 20, 2024 8:23 pm The same happens with Repro. It won't be fixed. thanks u-he for rather impressive synths in general and for supporting linux at all.
also, the linux install process is rather pain free, which i really appreciate for testing the softwares.

First of all, U-He plugins ROCK!
I bought Hive2, Diva, Zebra2/HZ, Presswerk & MFM2.
I'm running Reaper native on Ubuntu 22.04. The patch search function works in Hive 2 and Zebra2/HZ, but not in Diva, Presswerk or MFM2.
I'm using all of the latest (as of 2024-10-16) builds.
Thanks for supporting Linux!

This is super weird. If it works in Hive, it should work in Diva as well.SmoothMountain wrote: Thu Oct 24, 2024 5:02 am The patch search function works in Hive 2 and Zebra2/HZ, but not in Diva, Presswerk or MFM2.
