Hi, no doubt a dumb beginners question:
I want to copy two parts of a track from one session to another.
How do I do that?
Thanks in advance for your help,

Rob

Open up the source session and copy the two parts you want by selecting them and pressing ctrl+c (copy shortcut). Then click on the session menu button up top, and then open session. Once you've chosen the destination session a little menu will pop up asking if you want to open it into the current session. Select the other option (sorry, can't remember its name). You should now have two sessions open. Now click in the place you want your parts to appear in your destination session and press ctrl+v to paste.

Thanks, Robenesto, for your quick and clear explanation.
What I forgot to ask in my post is:
When two sessions are loaded, is it possible to toggle visibility between those sessions?
I mean showing session 1 and than showing session 2 and back.

You can do that using the standard OSX / Windows ways to switch between windows. E.g. on Windows you can Alt-Tab between the session windows.

Thanks. Alt.Tab it was. I was trying Tab and got nowhere.
