Unlock sequencer patterns in PLAY area

Hi. New user here. How do I unlock the sequence patterns from the PLAY area when using TIMELINE?

As soon as I start using the timeline, I cannot play anymore the sequences on PLAY and even when I delete everything in TIMELINE, they are still locked.

How can I unlock them so I am able to play then again, is there a switch button?

Change the "Conduct" in the sequencer properties. "Auto" will just play the current sequencer; "Play" will allow you to sequence them live from either the Play panel or the pattern window; "Timeline" controls them from the Arranger; and "Modulate" lets you control them using the inlets.
