Audio Brewers releases ab Chorus - Spatial Chorus with independent chorus controls per spatial dimension
Audio Brewers has announced the release of their latest plugin, ab Chorus, a three-dimensional chorus compatible with Mono, Stereo, and Ambisonics signals (1OA to 7OA).
ab Chorus is designed to function using Higher-Order Ambisonics, enabling it to be compatible with any speaker array, including Dolby Atmos. This feature allows users to independently control chorus modulations in various dimensions such as Width, Depth, Height, and specifically in orientations like Front, Back, Left, Right, Top, and Bottom. Audio Brewers says this level of control provides a new layer of customization in sound manipulation.
The plugin supports Mono, Stereo, and Ambisonics sources from 1OA through 7OA, and outputs Stereo and Ambisonics signals. These outputs can be decoded to any speaker array, from Binaural to Surround and Dolby Atmos arrays. Thus, it enables the creation of a fully immersive three-dimensional space from a Monophonic recording, enhancing the experience of immersive and spatial mixes.
Audio Brewers has also introduced ab Chorus X, a version tailored for iOS devices (iPhone and iPad). This Stereo Chorus utilizes the same technology, making sophisticated sound manipulation accessible on mobile platforms.
