Audio Brewers has announced the release of Peace, a Kontakt Instrument built from the shell of a missile and sampled in stereo and ambisonics (for Dolby Atmos and other Immersive formats).
They define this project as "an artistic statement against armed conflicts and the current state of the world."
The Instrument itself was built from scratch using the empty shell of a missile and from there, an extra resonance box located above the musician was created using a military helmet.
The instrument, while behaving like a cello, produces a particular color due to its body being metallic (the shell) and its multiple resonance boxes producing a naturally immersive sound.
The instrument was sampled both in stereo and ambisonics, for composers and sound designers who wish to natively work with binaural, Dolby Atmos, or other immersive formats.
With over 50 articulations and hundreds of sound effects, Peace also features what Audio Brewers calls "Adaptive Polyphonic Legato", which is an engine that allows the musician to freely play their music at any speed while the instrument itself adapts the speed at which the legato transitions happen. With different types of legato available (Portamento and Finger on-off) and variable speed and with infinite polyphony.
Intro Price: 69,00€ (Reg. 119,00€).
