Cherry Audio has announced the release of Synth Stack 5, the 2024 update to their complete collection of 30 virtual instruments.
Synth Stack 5 includes 23 emulations of vintage synthesizers; three original synthesizers; a drum machine, electric piano, and tonewheel organ; a massive modular synthesizer platform; and over 10,000 presets. In addition, and for the first time, Synth Stack includes GPFree, a lite version of Gig Performer 5, an audio plugin host for live performance and session musicians. Owners of Synth Stack also receive a 10% discount off the regular price of the full version of Gig Performer 5.
Synth Stack 5 includes:

- PS-20, an ultra-realistic, polyphonic, hot-rodded tribute to Korg's renowned MS-20.
- Memorymode, based upon the Memorymoog, one of the very best-sounding polyphonic programmable analog synthesizers of the 80s.
- Mercury-4, a detailed emulation of one of the best-sounding and quirkiest polyphonic synthesizers of the late 1970's, the Roland Jupiter-4.
- Quadra, a reimagining of one of the quirkiest, rarest, and most curiosity-inspiring vintage synthesizers of all time, the 1978 ARP Quadra.
- Dreamsynth, a tribute to the celebrated hybrid analog/digital synthesizers of the mid-to-late 1980s.
