For producers that like modulating filters in their plugins, we just released a quick video showing how to make a dancing synth using Parity EQ.
It's straightforward, but it goes over:
- Creating an 8-bar filter sweep using a step sequencer
- Modulating that sweep with a separate LFO
- A couple ways to mix the mods up
We also touch on sidechain compression for the synth, which can be a good way to make a loop way more interesting.
