Cut Through Recordings has announced that all of its latest plug-ins are now available in LV2 format. LV2 plug-ins function the same as VST, VST3, and AU, with the added benefit of quick scan times.
Cut Through Recordings say that because of the nature of LV2 (open source), it is very easy to support since there are no licensing restrictions or hoops to jump through to release them.

What About MacOS and Windows?
While LV2 is only supported by a few hosts on Windows and MacOS, Cut Through Recordings do intend to release all plug-ins for both platforms in LV2 format, saying "We are very happy with LV2 and hope to see it become more widely adopted so we will push to support it on as many systems as possible."
