
KV331 Audio has updated their freemium app SynthMaster Player for iPad to version 1.0.11 on the Apple App Store. With this update, users are no longer required to complete the Pro Upgrade to purchase preset banks. They can now purchase any preset bank once they complete registration.
Other important features introduced with this update are:
- New Preset Bank: SynthMaster Player for iPad now uses the SynthMaster v2.7 engine, so KV331 Audio have released the v2.7 factory presets as a new preset bank. The bank contains 300 presets designed by Nori Ubukata, Rob Lee, Bluffmunkey, Vorpal Sound, Ufuk Kevser and Gercek Dorman. It can be purchased for $4.99 via in-app-purchase.
- Preset Bank Bundles: Multiple preset banks can now be purchased as a bundle at reduced prices. With v1.0.11, the following bundles are available:
- Historic Synth Giants Bundle : Contains Nori Ubukata's 4 Historic Synth Giants preset banks for $13.99.
- Dawn of Electronic Music Bundle: Contains Nori Ubukata's 3 Dawn of Electronic Music preset banks for $11.99.
- Rob Lee EDM Bundle: Contains Rob Lee's 5 EDM preset banks for $24.99.
- SynthMaster EDM Bundle Volume 1: Contains 4 preset banks for $17.99.
- SynthMaster EDM Bundle Volume 2: Contains 4 preset banks for $13.99.
- iOS 9 compatibility added for AudioBus.
- A new global setting is added to limit the polyphony, independent of the preset polyphony setting.
- Users can now design their sounds with the desktop version of SynthMaster 2.7 and export them to SynthMaster Player iPad using iTunes.
- XYPads can now be dynamically recorded up to 30 seconds (Pro upgrade required).
- Internal arpeggiator can now be turned off so that external arpeggiator can be used (Pro upgrade required).
- Vibrato and channel pressure (aftertouch) added to the piano keys (Pro upgrade required).
