Muse Research, the owner of KVR, has released version 1.4 of Receptor's system software. Version 1.4 adds several enhancements and new features, plus various minor issues, annoyances, obscurities, and minutia have been addressed.
NOTE: The beta version of the v1.4 software update for Receptor has been deemed of release quality and is now the official v1.4 release. If you have already installed the beta version you do not need to update again.
Main changes:
- Scribble Strip: User-Definable Channel Names.
- Route MIDI CCs to Source Plugins (switchable between this and the old functionality - state saved in a MULTI).
- Dual Function CPU Gauge: the CPU meter now measures both the instantaneous peak CPU usage and an average CPU usage.
- Turn off Receptor using its Graphical Interface.
- Monitor System Temperature.
- Improved RAM utilization: new optimization routines improve the amount of available memory to be used for sample memory and improves the overall performance for all plug-ins.
- Various minor issues, annoyances, obscurities, and minutia have been addressed including Tempo Value is now saved with a Multi patch.
