Plugin Alliance and Brainworx have announced the release of the SPL Vitalizer Mk3-T, a plugin that models the renowned analog program equalizer from SPL.
The plugin uses patented psychoacoustic processing to enhance clarity, volume, and low-end punch without introducing unwanted harshness. It works by de-masking overlapping frequencies, which helps bring out detail and vibrancy in a mix. This makes it a useful tool for both mixing and mastering applications.
One interesting feature is the ability to switch between the new Mk3-T "black" model and the legacy Mk2-T "gold" model, offering two distinct flavors of the classic hardware. The plugin also includes several features not found on the original analog unit, such as Brainworx's patented TMT (Tolerance Modeling Technology), a Bass Split Mode, a Stereo Expander, and additional metering options.
Key Features:
-
Detailed model of the SPL Vitalizer Mk3-T analog hardware.
-
Psychoacoustic processing for enhancing audio.
-
Ability to switch between Mk3-T and legacy Mk2-T models.
-
Exclusive plugin-only features like TMT, Bass Split Mode, and Stereo Expander.
