Testimonials:

"We live in the age of the reissue and 'copycat' synthesizer. What the people at Cherry Audio have done is capture the soul of the Juno-106 and evolve it so it is an everyday part of my creative process. Wonderful." Michael Whalen - Emmy Award winning film & TV composer, and international recording artist.

"I played in bands when the first Juno-106 came out and always wanted one, but I never owned one until many years later. Cherry Audio has nailed the 106, plus they've added features we could've never dreamed of in the original. I'll be incorporating DCO-106 into my film scores and live shows. I love this instrument, highly recommend!" Mike McKnight - Keyboardist, programmer, and music director. Credits include Roger Waters, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Earth Wind and Fire, George Michael, Paula Abdul, Lady Gaga, U2 and many others on tour and in the studio.

A free 30-day demo of DCO-106 is available. This demo will play random tones periodically, but is otherwise unlimited.

macOS Requirements: macOS 10.11 or above, 64-bit required. Quad-core computer with 8GB of RAM recommended.

Windows Requirements: Windows 7 or above, 64-bit required. Quad-core computer with 8GB of RAM recommended.

Superb simulation of the original device, but:

The copy protection system wants to register the plugin and load some stuff online from time to time.

At homestudio that's ok, but on stage you mostly have no internet and therefore it's a very high risk to use this plugin there. I had several connections to the support, got some solutions but have still this annoying behavior. So only two and not five stars.

I first found out about Cherry Audio when I came across an article about their free VST Surrealistic MG-1 Plus (which is awesome by the way... but you can read about that on that page). Then I noticed they made a Juno-106 emulator and immediately downloaded the demo. Since I own a 106 I wanted to compare the software to my hardware. The sounds on its own were amazing, but it wasn't until after I connected my own Juno-106 and sysex my presets that I was completely blown away!!! Listening to my own basic to weird creations coming from their DCO-106 was just insane!! Could not believe how incredibly close (if not spot on) the sounds were side by side!!!! Naturally it only took a moment to click the BUY button. Then I noticed the price.... It felt like I was stealing!!!!! Highly... highly recommended!.

In my opinion the most authentic recreation of the 106.

I owned one since 1986 but sold it around 2000. Since then, I've tried to find an emulation that would REALLY give me that sound again. There are quite a few out there that come close but THIS one is it. At least for me.
A great addition to my Arturias, NI and others. An outstanding synth with some more extras like a nice sounding reverb and delay and a simple but effective arpeggiator. The Juno-Chorus is also included and sounds great and authentic as well (but without the noise!). In comparison to Roland's cloud-version of the Juno 106, this plugin sound much more like the original (in my opinion).

Really one of a kind and it makes me feel nearly 35 years younger again :-).
