KAGE TRICOMP

KG TriComp is a powerful multi-band compressor plug-in designed to split the frequency spectrum of the sound into three independent bands to apply individual dynamic processing. This sophisticated tool effectively controls dynamic collisions between frequencies within the mix and maximizes the tone balance and consistency of the overall sound by applying an optimized compression to the LOW, MID and HIGH areas. Users can control fine dynamics through independent THRESHOLD, RATIO, ATTACK, and RELEASE controls for each frequency band, enabling sophisticated mixing that was not possible with a single compressor, such as smooth control of the high-pitched range where the chirping sound occurs while maintaining the low-pitched punch of the kick drum. The 'INPUT' and 'OUTPUT' gain controls provided for each band accurately calibrate the levels before and after processing to maintain the optimal gain stage, and the 'LOW MID SPLIT PREQ' and 'MID HIGH SPLIT PREQ' knobs allow users to set the frequency division points exactly as they want to maximize work flexibility. In addition, the 'ANALOG' mode is an essential tool to provide complete dynamic control over the entire track, not only in the mixing stage but also in the mastering stage, by reflecting the warmth and unique nonlinear characteristics of the analog hardware compressor to give the sound organic texture and cohesion.
