Last EQ for Live (Bundle)

What is this?

Last EQ for Live is my attempt to build the perfect console-style equalizer(s) for Ableton Live.

Each model is inspired by a different classic studio EQ, with an interface designed in the spirit of that hardware. Stepped dials are included where the original units featured them, helping you achieve a familiar workflow and feel.

To achieve the best possible sound quality, I used oversampling to reduce frequency cramping near the Nyquist limit, allowing the filters to maintain a more natural, analogue-style behaviour across the spectrum.

For visual feedback, the device also includes a foldable EQ curve analyser, which can be expanded or hidden as required, keeping the interface both informative and unobtrusive.

4K – British four-band EQ. All the detail you'll ever need.

550 – American three-band EQ with stepped frequencies. A desert-island EQ for many.

Important Notes

I have only tested this with Ableton 12 on Mac.

Requires Ableton Live Suite or the Max for Live add-on.

The curve analyzer is optimized for 48 kHz sessions.
