Description

In many mixes, completely static tracks can feel rigid. NanoMix adds the kind of small, slow micro-movements often created manually with automation, helping parts feel more alive without changing their basic sound.

NanoMix is a small humanizer and mix utility plugin designed to add subtle movement to otherwise static tracks.

It uses a controlled Chaos engine to generate smooth, semi-random variations in volume, pan, and MIDI output. The movement is visible in the interface in real time, so the user can immediately see how the Chaos engine behaves and how smooth the variations are.

Despite the name, Chaos does not mean unstable or unpredictable modulation. The generated movement is locked to the host timeline and remains the same at the same position in the project, unless the seed is changed. This makes the result fully repeatable on playback and bounce.

NanoMix can be used on vocals, synths, pads, drums, loops, background elements, or MIDI instruments where very small changes in level, pan, or MIDI values can help the part feel less rigid.

It is intended for subtle mix animation and humanization rather than obvious modulation effects, although stronger settings can also be used for creative results.

Important behavior

NanoMix does not generate a new random result each time the project is played.

The variation is deterministic and tied to the host timeline, so the same project position produces the same result every time. Changing the seed creates a different movement pattern.
