Seriously, if CPU is an issue, I’d also go with Redline Reverb. Excellent lush and alive reverb with a quite low impact.careyletendre wrote: Thu Dec 07, 2023 1:05 pm Redline Reverb

Quickquack’s algo reverb is fabulous also, but 32 bit only so far (64 is supposed to be awaited soon). I use JBridge.
2C Audio Breeze would have been an excellent choice also, but the company is having huge issues. It’s not recommended to buy anything from them at the moment, unless you’re brave and have some free time ahead.
I believe that Acon Digital’s reverb also has a quite low impact, and it’s excellent too, I use it on every project.
Check also Ariesverb. I don’t know why this one seems forgotten, it sounds superb.
That’s what I would choose.

ValhallaVintageVerb is low CPU, so are the Exponential Audio plugins. Cinematic Rooms Pro is considered the best reverb by many and it's pretty light on the CPU, too -- about the same as VVV on my system.

That's what I noticed. It's an older reverb, but when I put it back to back with others it sounds quite acceptable, but has a smaller CPU footprint than many.DCrown wrote: Wed Dec 06, 2023 8:05 am Waves Renaissance Reverb, the one and only with very low cpu and very high quality
There's some real mystical voodoo going on with this one.

In my case Fruity Reverb 2, which is perfectly servicable - uses 0% CPU and using it in old or new projects will never cause compatibility issues in future.

Yep, it sounds quite nice. Probably forgotten because AFAIK development has been stalled for years.DJErmac wrote: Thu Dec 07, 2023 5:30 pm Check also Ariesverb. I don’t know why this one seems forgotten, it sounds superb.
A well-behaved signature.

In my testing a couple years ago, the above noted Saschart was the lowest, followed by:
AnwidaSoft Spatio Light

A little bit higher in CPU usage were:
Valhalla SuperMassive - Lyra mode
AudioDamage ADVerb v1
AudioDamage MangleVerb
2BReverbed
Kilohearts Reverb
Valhalla Vintage - Concert hall mode
