NAMM 2023Audio Modeling announces SWAM v3.7.0

Audio Modeling has announced the release of SWAM v3.7.0, which includes new features and important fixes that enhance the functionality and usability of SWAM instruments.

Here's a quick overview of what's new in this release:

Desktop Version:

• Added search bar for preset lists.
• Added latency compensation.
• Rearranged MIDI Preset list.
• Microtuning control by keyswitches.
• Apple Silicon supported natively for AAX plugins.
• VST3 on Windows: VST3 plugin is organized as a bundle (NOTE: In previous SDKs, the VST3 plugin was defined as a single dll file with the .vst3 extension. This is deprecated since VST 3.6.10.).
• Note out-of-range warning.
• And only for Solo Strings: improved Bow Noise, Attack Noise for mid and low dynamics, and Note Off Release.
• IOS version.
• AUv3 view improvement: removed header to increase space for controls (only for iPad).
• Added latency compensation.
• Added search bar for preset lists.
• MIDI Preset list: improved sorting.
• Microtuning control by keyswitches.
• iPhone: display of Transpose and Microtuning values in Home Page.
• Note out-of-range warning.
• And only for Solo Strings: Sound Engine: improved Bow Noise, Attack Noise for mid and low dynamics, and Note Off Release.

On a positive note, SWAM products along with the installer are entirely accessible, and with the latest release, version 3.7.0, accessibility for the visually impaired and blind has been enhanced even more.

• Cubase: user preset not restored.
• Camelot: glitch at Scene switching (Solo Woodwinds only).
• Logic Pro: parameter automation not recorded in "TOUCH" mode.
• SysEx messages: plugins receive F0 twice.
• Microtuning - Yamaha XG SysEx protocol: note out of range wrong behavior.
• Fixed Cavit Scale Ultimate SysEx protocol.

iOS version:

• AUv3 plugin: crash when opening Settings pages in portrait mode.
• Mapping header behaving erroneously.
• iPhone: mapping curve view not updated after MIDI learn.
• iPhone: missing warning messages.
• SysEx messages: plugins receive F0 twice.
• iPhone: MAQAM not working properly.
• Microtuning - Yamaha XG SysEx protocol: note out of range wrong behavior.
• Fixed Cavit Scale Ultimate SysEx protocol.

This update is free to SWAM owners and available from the Audio Modeling Software Center for desktop users and from AppStore for iOS users.

Attention: Starting from version 3.7.0, the macOS system must be at least 10.13 in order to support the software. Therefore, if you are currently using an older version of macOS, upgrading to version 3.7.0 or any upcoming releases will not be possible.
