Midi-2-the-Max releases free M2TM Steps for Ableton Live 12 - Creates Cyclic Note Variations

Midi-2-the-Max has announced the release of M2TM Steps, an Ableton Live MIDI Transformation Tool that changes note characteristic in a cyclic fashion.

A "cycle" can contain up to 64 steps and can be applied to pitch, velocity, start time, duration, probability and mute attributes of selected notes (or all notes, if none is selected).

The "step cycle" lets you quickly generate new melodies while preserving the mood of existing phrases, create accents and polyrhythms, humanize drum patterns and more, with just few mouse clicks.

M2TM Steps is free, it is not the "lite" or crippled version of a commercial product. It works with Ableton Live 12 Suite Edition or Standard Edition with max-for-live support.
