NDS has announced the release of Reel to Reel - Rhythm, a sample pack that features rhythm, beats and percussion constructed on the Elektron Analog Rytm, hardware samplers and other studio toys then recorded to Quantegy 456 Half Track 1/4 inch tape on a freshly calibrated Studer machine.
This pack was designed to be packed with raw sonic energy suitable for use at the core of a modern house, deep house or techno track.
The pack is also full of re-sampled one shots, where NDS have taken the beats they mixed to tape and then re-sampled back out hits from the source material old school style and then cleaned up so the hits are all easily usable but with all the extra sonic qualities you expect from a reel to reel machine.
This pack is also available to purchase in separate chunks along with the rest of the packs on NoDough's new sample store as part of their Vari-pack system. If you buy just the single-shot section of this pack you get a 40% discount.
The samples come in 24-bit 44100hz WAV or REX formats.
