Soundtoys donate $53,640 to the International Rescue Committee (IRC)

Soundtoys has announced a significant contribution of $53,640 to the International Rescue Committee (IRC), as part of their commitment to support not-for-profit organizations. This donation stems from the company's initiative, started in March 2022, to allocate 100% of the sales from Radiator plugin to aid those in need. The IRC is renowned for its work in assisting civilians affected by conflict and disaster in over 50 countries, including regions like Gaza, Ukraine, Lebanon, Myanmar, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Haiti, and Afghanistan.

It can be disheartening to see so much division and violence in the world, but I'm always encouraged by the outpouring of support we get when we try to raise awareness and support for the causes that we believe in. We're proud of the work the International Rescue Committee is doing, and we're proud of our creative and caring community who continue to help us help others.

Ken Bogdanowicz, founder and CEO of Soundtoys

The IRC's efforts are focused on providing immediate and long-term support in areas such as safety, health, education, financial wellbeing, and the empowerment of women and girls. They work tirelessly to deliver assistance in crisis-affected areas, collaborate with other NGOs to assess needs, and provide vital help. Additionally, the IRC is an advocate for the resettlement of vulnerable refugees, protection of asylum rights, and the enforcement of international humanitarian law.

Soundtoys remains committed to this cause and has announced that their next beneficiary will be Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders. MSF is known for their urgent medical humanitarian aid in war-torn and disaster-stricken regions.

All proceeds from the sales of Radiator will continue to be donated to organizations chosen by Soundtoys for their impactful work. Radiator is designed to bring the sound of the Altec 1567A to desktop recording rigs, capturing the distinctive warmth and punch of the original hardware and is available for purchase from the Soundtoys website.

Obviously it's great to give money to charity but I always thought of music software as a niche industry - I didn't realise these companies had so much spare cash to throw around.
