Wholegrain announces End-of-2020 Sale on DynPEQ Plugins
Wholegrain Digital Systems has announced an end-of-2020 sale on DynPEQ, discounting 30% off all plugin packages at all resellers, including the KVR Marketplace.
The sale period begins Thursday 26 November and ends Thursday 31 December 2020.
DynPEQ is a unique family of dynamic parametric equalization processors, heard on content engineered by Alan Meyerson, Ross Hogarth, Jason LaRocca, and many others:
- Trio DynPEQ is a 3-band single-channel insert geared to input processing.
- Quartet DynPEQ is a 4-band with multi-channel support and an analog peak limiter geared to bus mastering.
The heart of DynPEQ is a classic parametric equalizer, where bands are chosen by frequency and Q for independent dynamic processing. This delivers studio-oriented spectral control versus dynamic EQs based on audiological models with band crossovers. DynPEQ's time-domain IIR processing is designed to optimize realtime reaction and latency by calculating the total RMS level of the sidechain for a fast and smooth control signal, preventing the need to extend release time.
For those less familiar with DynPEQ, the sidebar at www.dynpeq.com offers helpful resources. The top sidebar lists upcoming Zoom seminars on processor design, operation, and applications, updated weekly. Below the top are resources for getting a trial license and finding a sales outlet.
The DynPEQ plugins are compatible with Pro Tools AAX from version 10 forwards, Native and HDX DSP. The plugins are also compatible with Audio Unit v2 workstations. The host computer supported is an Intel Mac running Mac OS X version 10.6 forwards.
