Woodman's Immaculate Maple Syrup Studio updates all its macOS plugins for the M1 ARM based CPU
Woodman's Immaculate Maple Syrup Studio has updated all its plugins (AU, VST and AAX) and standalone apps with an optimised version for the M1 Arm64 CPU used in the new MacBook Air and Mac Mini.
All plugins and apps are now universal binaries containing compiled code for both the Intel CPUs and the M1 ARM based CPUs.
A test revealed that some plugins were running up to 2 times faster on the M1 Macbook Air compared to a 2018 2.9GHz quad core i7 MacBookPro.
