GeoFlute runs inside GeoShred Studio, where the concert flute's three-register tonal vocabulary becomes continuously accessible through GeoShred's multi-row pitch surface. Press lightly for the breathy low-register quality; increase pressure to bring out the balanced middle register or the brilliant upper octave. Vibrato, flutter tongue, and tone color all shift continuously with gesture input. The SWAM engine models the underlying air column, embouchure angle, and resonating tube physics; GeoShred Studio's integrated FX rack delivers reverb, echo, and amp modeling throughout the performance chain.

The Concert Flute's Acoustic Identity

The concert flute's three registers are acoustically distinct: the low register is naturally soft and breathy, the middle register balanced and full, and the upper register brilliant and penetrating through overblown harmonics. The tonal shift between them is a continuous function of breath pressure, embouchure, and air speed. GeoShred Studio places that continuous behavior under direct gestural control, so the performer's input shapes where in the range the instrument speaks at any moment.

GeoShred Studio runs as a VST3, AU, or AUv3 plugin inside Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper, and other major DAWs, or as a standalone application. The isomorphic surface tuned in perfect fourths provides natural melodic continuity across the flute's range, with slides and portamento available on any note. Wind and breath controllers, a natural pairing for flute-style performance, connect directly to GeoShred Studio, which is designed from the ground up for multidimensional continuous input.
