Reelight is a tape saturation plugin with many features for getting an authentic tape vibe and also some of the desirable artifacts associated with tape. The plugin authentically emulates tape saturation / compression and overall sound and vibe and was created using Beatskillz own proprietary RTT technology (used in valvesque).

Has anyone else had issues with stereo imaging when using this?

Yes, there are stereo issues with Reellight because Beatskillz software is a joke. Unless you're a DJ, I wouldn't buy anything by Beatskillz. It's amateurish. No audio professional would buy software designed for DJ's. If you do you'll end up with underdeveloped software with bugs that should have been fixed before it was released. It's 3rd rate software hoping to capitalize on the gullible kids making EDM in their bedrooms. So unless you are highly gullible and/or a kid, STAY AWAY. There are far better tools available that accomplish the things that Beatskillz attempts to. Don't be fooled.

Thanks for the heads up. You're probably right that they are not top draw but no need to shame anyone who uses their software... I found it funny how in a follow up marketing email they said they had fixed a 'small panning issue'. The problem made it completely unusable! I was interested because I like tape emulation but didn't go for it after trying the demo.

Hornet is a legit company that makes a very affordable tape emu. Check them out.
