2B Played Music has released 2B Clipped for macOS. 2B Clipped is a free distortion plug-in. They say:
The release of 2B Clipped in Audio Unit format is part of the journey to bring the full 2B Played Music catalog to Apple's macOS, and follows the release of the VST2 and VST3 versions for Windows last month. 2B Played Music expects to have the full plugin catalog macOS compatible by August 2020.
The large distortion knob first adds some character to the sounds you put through the plug-in, but as soon as you open the distortion knob more than half it will transform into a clip distortion. In this way, the plug-in is suitable not only for adding subtle character to your sounds, but also for completely overdriving them.
