In keeping up with the latest emerging technology, Scotland-based developers Signum Audio have introduced support for Atmos 7.1.2 into their BUTE Loudness Suite and Loudness Analyser.
With more elaborate home theatres becoming commonplace and content providers and studio's starting to embrace immersive audio formats, this will come as good news to many producers.
BUTE is Signum Audio's first family of tools, focused on loudness-related issues. They have been working directly with post-production and broadcasting professionals to improve their solutions, and want to make BUTE the new industry standard for loudness-management.
Signum Audio will be exhibiting BUTE at IBC 2018 this year on stand 9.LP30.
The BUTE Loudness Suite (Surround) is available at £249 (exc. VAT) for a perpetual licence. The comprehensive package includes a true peak brick wall limiter, analyser, and normaliser (including AudioSuite support).
The BUTE Loudness Analyser (Surround) is £89 (exc. VAT).
