Cognitone has updated Synfire, its music prototyping studio, to version 2.6.0.
Feature Enhancements:
- Audio Engine 5.2.0.
- New 'symboly' type 'Intervals' for more consistent string parts, chorales, counterpoint and other ornamented chords.
- New polytonality macros.
- Configurable keyboard shortcut for the Output parameter.
Resolved Bugs:
- Arrow key transpose of CC data should not quantize vertically.
- Voice leading strategy was not properly inherited to child containers.
- Rendering: Fixed issues with chord inversion and voicing.
- Interpretation: Clip notes outside total pitch range by default.
- Double-click on ruler in child container started transport with an offset.
- Fixed several minor issues with polytonality layers.
- Fixed several crashes with graphics.
Other Changes:
- Harmony: Improved continuity of inversion and voicing.
- Interpretation: Optimized several presets.
- Portamento controller should control portamento time.
- Always show all tabs on the library sidebar (also on Library page).
- Fixed unresponsiveness to keyboard shortcuts when a list has input focus.
