Making a bass patch with Rob Papen's Go2 virtual synth
Following on from the popular Toontrack UK Pop EZX tutorial he compiled for us back in February, Computer Music writer and reviewer Ronan Macdonald is back, this time taking a look at Rob Papen Go2 – the newest virtual synth offering from a synthesis supremo.
This time Ronan walks you through how to make a great sounding bass patch in Go2 that utilises both the XY Pad oscillator and filter modulation. With screenshots and audio demos to help you along the way, this guide is both comprehensive and incredibly easy to follow.
Whether you're a Go2 user or not there are still plenty of tips and tricks that you can utilise. Producers of electronic music, in particular, will benefit from the knowledge and experience that Ronan has picked up over the last couple of decades he's spent making electronic music.
