Muse Research, KVR's owner, has made several announcements at this years AES Convention in New York, which opened today. The bulk of the announcements center around new plug-ins becoming available for Receptor, plus the imminent release of version 1.4 of the Receptor software.
The following plug-ins are now compatible with Receptor; the installers / installer helpers should be added to Plugorama later this month (once v1.4 ships):
- BFD and BFD Lite from FXpansion. BFD Lite is a new version of BFD that is available with special drums kits only on Receptor.
- SampleTank, Sonik Synth and Amplitube from IK Multimedia.
- SV-315, SV-517, CQ1, and DQ1 from Sonalksis.
- Ivory from Synthogy.
- Akoustik Piano and Kontakt 2 (finally) from NI.
- Pluggo Jr. from Cycling '74.
- Plus the previously announced EastWest plug-ins (and don't forget the special EW Receptor+Colossus promotion).
Muse Research is showing version 1.4 of Receptor's software. Version 1.4 improves the RAM utilization in Receptor as well as adding new MIDI features. Version 1.4 software will be available free to all registered Receptor owners later this month.
