SKnote announced the release of version 3.0 of Disto, an extended model of one of the best known audio compressors.
The new version of Disto includes four different algorithms that vastly extend the possibilities of the original hardware unit. It also increases the number of features by including the functions from another hardware unit. Warmth, transformers and a control on the headroom (to tame peaks that pass through a slow attack time or to add saturation and harmonics to the signal) are on the bottom unit.
A Mid/Side encoder/decoder gives easy control on the components of a stereo signal.
This new version improves Disto by the addition of a better preset management system, a new control for the sensitivity of the Hottitude knob, VST3, Apple-native, and a new interface.
Disto 3 is available now on www.sknoteaudio.com as a VST/AU/AAX plugin for Windows and Apple OS X systems, including Apple-silicon-native.
