I am sure this question can be written off to a newbie trying to get a guitar to play from my ROland A-49 keyboard connected to Repaer on Linux Mint (Ubuntu-based).
But I tried installing ZAK Sound Sapphire Guitar 2 using the installer file that came with the tar file and when I selected the Saphire Guitar 2 sounds, nothing was played and I got the error message that the plugin could not be scanned.
I did notice that the folder "Sapphire Guitar 2 Essential Samples" was never included in the installer script and was never put into any folder path for Reaper. Should I manually copy that folder and its contents somewhere?
Also, I did add the .vst3 path to the Reaper path list but did not add the .config path into which some of the other files/folders were copied. Should I also add the .config path to the Reaper VST path?
Sorry for a question that probably seems blazingly stupid to some, but I am hoping to get this up and running and try creting some neat music, but need some help.
