SN04-G is a hybrid character 3-band channel EQ plug-in with basic surgical capabilities, LP/HP section, adjustable output volume and phase, and optional "analog modeling". It's designed with ASIO/CPU footprint that allows it to live across all channels of a project as a virtual console EQ.

Features:

  • HF: +/-18dB shelf or bell filter with variable bandwidth and 7 switchable frequencies.
  • MF: +/-18dB bell filter with variable bandwidth and 7 switchable frequencies.
  • LF: +/-18dB shelf or bell filter with variable bandwidth and 7 switchable frequencies.
  • HPF: slope of 6dB, 12dB, 18dB, and 24dB per octave, with 5 switchable frequencies.
  • LPF: slope of 6dB, 12dB, 18dB, and 24dB per octave, with 5 switchable frequencies.
  • bell filter bandwidth proportional to gain and frequency.
  • symmetrical and asymmetrical modes for boost/cut (bell filter only).
  • "American" and "British" shelving modes.
  • mutable bands for quick A/B comparisons.
  • output gain +/- 25dB.
  • phase invert at output.
  • optional rudimentary "analog modeling".

Superb EQ plugin!

Despite being simple to use there is much "under the hood" with several not immediately apparent options.
"A - B" modes in Q controls make a world of difference in frequency response also depending on wether you're using Bell EQ modes or Shelf modes.

It started sounding great right from the first time i used it but later, when checking it with "DDMF's Plugin Doctor" i was surprised to see results that were as perfect, clean and distortion free as DMG's flagship Equilibrium.

SN04-EQ is a superb Master Bus EQ, much better than all the competitors i have tested and way more efficient than Waves' API series plugins.

It's a no-brainer. Download it.

It's great for mix & mastering to open up the sound more & more to make & get boost of clarity equalizersion enhancement. i love this plugin 64-bit free & the results in the mastering mixing. This EQ sounds very good its crazy that its free :o.

I use it almost on every channel it just sweetens up the sound so much.. Seriously its crazy good!.
