Aly James Lab has updated "VProm" Variable Sample Rate Drum Plugin to v3.0.2.
Change in version 3.0.2
- Fix - EPROM read pointers now use fixed-point 32.32 math. (Floating-point rounding could occasionally shift the read position by one sample depending on the compiler. This could slightly smear transients and behave like a tiny low-pass effect. Fixed-point math ensures consistent sample timing across platforms).
- Fix - MIDI Custom Map: Extra2 / Cabasa trigger mismatch corrected.
- Fix - Offline render/bounce: very first MIDI trigger if at sample 0 now correctly processed on Mac AudioUnit (AU).
- Fix - Removed some C++ dependencies in order to support older Mac OS versions. (see compatibility). (VProm 3 previously required Mac OS 15 (Catalina) minimum; it should now run on Mojave).
- Change - Hi-hat envelope generator response reverted to the VProm 2.0.4 response (slightly more snappy).
- Change - Legacy CEM envelope generator CV: biased by a few mV of gain (slightly more open filter). (Legacy Mode for the Filter EG reproduces the VProm 2.0.4 default envelope response; it is now closer to the original behavior).
- Fix - Mixer response: now correctly applied, with improved logarithmic taper curve.
- Fix - Possible DC hang in the oversampler.
- Fix - Improved cross-platform file paths handling.
- New - Improved UI functionality and vector graphics for volume sliders.
- New - Skin & CEM filters mode (legacy/expert) settings now saved with a .vpromKit file. (VProm Library example kits (LinnDrum and DMX) are updated to this new format. Do the same for your own .vpromKit file: load your kit, set the Skin, set CEM modes to expert or legacy as needed, save kit - Done).
- VProm Factory Library updated with .vpromKit files (using 3.0.2 format): DMX_2, DX_2 and Linndrum_2.
- Fix - Imported v2 presets will turn off Hihat loop if a custom hat was set.
- Fix - minor bugs like SETS button off state could be entered with another click even though SETS was already engaged.
