Realitone has released RealiDrums, a sampled drums library for Kontakt and Kontakt Payer featuring 42 different snares (42 actual snares, not not 42 snare "sounds), 7 kick drums, 11 hi hats and many toms, cymbals and crashes, as well as percussion. Each drum or cymbal has 4 pre-mixed options, Close Mic, Room, Rock, or Beast Mode. For the snares, his means 42 x 4 = 172 different snare sounds, all with multiple velocity layers and round robin samples.
Besides the high quantity of drums, RealiDrums also has a unique "Groove Generator." Rather than selecting from a long list of MIDI files, the Groove Generator uses "Complexity Sliders" so the user can customize a groove to fit their needs, all in real time.
RealiDrums is priced at $299.95, but has an introductory price of $199.95.
