NAMM 2017RF Music releases Comp87 MB v2.0 - Mac version with VST3, AU and 64-bit support

RF Music has updated Comp87 MB to v2.0.0.

Comp87 is a compressor plug-in available for Windows and Mac OS X users. Two main knobs (Compress and Ratio) control and adjust multiple internal parameters to shield the user from unnecessary tweaks to parameters like threshold, curve, gain, makeup, attack and release. Although most controls are included to keep the flexibility of a common compressor.

In the MB or Multi-band version of Comp87, the input signal is divided into 3 bands (Low, Mid and High) and each band is processed separately. At the end these bands come together as a single signal and go through the 4th compressor. In addition to the compressor there are saturation and stereo separation controls.

Changes:

• Rewritten in C++ and much lighter.
• Mac OS X support.
• AU Support.
• VST3 Support.
• 64-bit Support.
• Entirely new code but the sound is nearly identical to v1.
• Faster and more CPU friendly.
• New preset system.
• Includes installers.
