Homegrown Sounds updates "Kit Creator" with new formats/features (Vibrations benefits from this update)

Homegrown Sounds has updated Kit Creator, a program for Windows/Mac that automatically generates sample kits of 16 samples for various sample formats. It allows assigning 16 folders to any combination of pads and then will automatically generate presets from those assignments.

Kit Creator has been in development over the last year and is steadily approaching v1.0. With recent updates it now supports many more formats and has become much more streamlined and modularised under the hood.

It now supports the following formats:

• MPC.
• Ableton Live Drum rack.
• Speedrum.
• TAL-Drum.
• TAL Sampler.
• Impact XT.
• SampleOne.
• Sitala.
• TX16Wx.
• Octatrack (Sample Chains).
• Merging WAVs & using CUE points.
• SFZ.

As well as creating presets it can also do basic conversion and editing of some of the formats.

Vibrations, which is a sample collection of a TR-6S, has also been updated and supports all of Kit Creators current formats.

Both of these are available from the downloads page for customers that own them.

It is expected that Kit Creator will be released as v1.0 in a few weeks time.
