PreSonus

PreSonus has announced the release of ATOM Producer Lab, a tightly integrated, all-PreSonus production kit that combines the company's ATOM production and performance pad controller with the bus-powered AudioBox USB 96 audio/MIDI interface, M7 large-diaphragm condenser microphone, and Studio One Artist production software for Mac and Windows. The bundle also includes a bonus MVP Loop content library, the Studio Magic Plug-in Suite, and mic and USB cables.

Here's what they say:

The PreSonus ATOM is both a compact, dynamic performance controller and a versatile production controller. Produce beats, play virtual instruments, and trigger sound effects and loops in real time with expressiveness and flexibility using ATOM's 16 full-size, velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pads with selectable pad velocity curves and pad pressure thresholds, 8 assignable pad banks, 4 programmable rotary encoders, and 20 assignable buttons.

The included Studio One 4 Artist production software includes powerful drag-and-drop functionality; unlimited audio tracks, MIDI tracks, virtual instruments, buses, and FX channels; and 25 built-in effects and virtual instrument plug-ins. Yet it's easy to learn and use, enabling you to work quickly and stay focused on your inspiration.

ATOM and Studio One integrate tightly to deliver a fast, professional-style workflow. Use ATOM to browse virtual instruments and add them to your session, change instrument presets, create loop points and navigate the timeline, change song tempo, edit and quantize MIDI events, zoom in and out on the timeline or events, control Studio One's transport, and more.

The 2-in, 2-out AudioBox USB 96 audio/MIDI interface is bus-powered, compact, ruggedly built, and works with virtually any Mac or Windows recording software. It boasts two combo mic/instrument inputs with high-performance Class A mic preamplifiers, MIDI I/O, and 24-bit, 96 kHz converters. Studio One instantly configures for the AudioBox USB 96; when both are used with ATOM, you have an integrated production environment that's flexible, feature-rich, and easy to use.

Get your mic collection off to a good start with the PreSonus M7 professional studio microphone. Its large-diaphragm design makes it perfect for recording a wide range of sources including voice, acoustic guitar, percussion, and more. The M7 comes complete with a mic cable, mic-stand adapter, desktop mic stand, and cloth carry bag.

A wealth of virtual instruments, loops, and drum kits are included with Studio One Artist. To further fuel your creativity, ATOM Producer Lab also comes with a carefully curated MVP Loops loop and one-shot library custom-designed for ATOM. More content is available from the online PreSonus Shop.

The PreSonus ATOM Producer Lab is available now at your PreSonus dealer at a U.S. street price of $299.95.
