Soundemote releases two Oscilloscope Music synthesizers - Torus and Spiral - with 30% off introductory price for 7 days
Soundemote has announced the release of two Oscilloscope Music synthesizers, Torus and Spiral. 30% off introductory price for 7 days.
Here's what they say:
Spiral Generator fractal spiral algorithm may be the best of Jerobeam's creations. It is more immediately gratifying than other algorithms, and the Z-Darkness gives easy access to chaos and sound design possibilities.
The anything-to-anything routing and chaos-capable modulation system takes things to another level.
A handful of patches were created to mimic a kind of analog filter, giving a growling and gritty sound that is reminiscent of the TB-303. This is only possible with the chaos-capable modulation system.
Here is a musical piece to demonstrate this: hearthis.at/soundemote/spiral-generator-herbie-by-elan-hickler
Torus Generator is the more well-behaved brother of Spiral Generator. It stays in tune when adjusting Z-Darkness and seems to excel at epic bass patches. This inspired over 30 bass patches converting growls, screams, and wobbles.
Here is a demonstration of the powerful bass sounds that Torus can create, drawing inspiration from of Daft Punk - Robot Rock: SoundCloud.com/soundemote/torus-generator-robot-rock-elan-hickler-remix
Little Spiral Generator is the new title for the free Spiral Generator. It has also been updated to work in Logic (it now passes AU Validation).
Here are highlights from KVR One Synth Challenge 101, which is a competition where the only sound source is the given plugin, in this case, Little Spiral Generator: hearthis.at/soundemote/spiral-generator-kvr-one-synth-challenge-101-highlights
