The installer defaults to "VstPLugins" - so no choice on where to put it.

The plugin scanner DOESN'T offer folder options to scan for plugins.

Hi, thanks or your feedback, we have noticed that issue with the installer, please accept our apologies, we're mac people and are trying to learn how to create installers on windows and failing at getting it right so we thought we'd go generic and allow the user to then copy it where they need.

With regards to the scanning issue we have included what we thought would be the defaults, \Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins and \VSTPlugins (64-bit and 32-bit Program folders as well in the 64-bit), we will get onto adding a feature where by you can enter in other directories to search, but it will be one where you have to manually enter the directory or copy and paste it, would that feature be acceptable?

...that would be standard Windows fare. Thanks for your effort. I was looking to get Perception or Mcompare (currently on sale this week), and this seemed EXACTLY what I was looking for. I understand coming from Mac. Looks like a great plugin. Still looking forward to trying it out.

We are working on this at the moment and hopefully will have an update within a day or 2.

...checked out the new update, which still says 1.0 and is only discernable by the difference in size, and the ability to install in a specified location has been implemented, but the scanner still has no option to scan folders, or is there something I'm doing wrong?

I wanted to buy the full version, but I tried free and changed my mind.
